About Me

I am a critical care physician at Memorial Healthcare System, specializing in the care of critically ill and injured patients within the hospital. My focus is on diagnosing, treating and supporting patients and their families throughout their stay in the intensive care unit and other areas of the hospital. I am committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care during the most challenging times.

I earned my medical degree in Mexico before pursuing advanced training in New York City, where I completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine. This experience allowed me to refine my skills in demanding medical environments.

In addition to providing in-hospital care, I am passionate about medical education. I enjoy teaching bedside clinicians the effective use of ultrasound and conducting simulation training for rapid response and cardiac arrest teams. This work helps ensure that all healthcare professionals are well-prepared for critical situations.
