About Me
I am a neurologist at Memorial Neuroscience Institute, where I treat all conditions affecting the brain and nervous system. I have a strong interest in neurohospitalist medicine, treating acute neurological emergencies as well as caring for patients in the intensive care setting.
My interest in the neurological sciences began at SUNY Stony Brook University in New York, where I completed my undergraduate studies with a specialization in neuroscience. My foundation in the basic sciences of medicine began at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine, and I was selected to complete clinical rotations through a competitive joint program at FIU Herbert Wertheim School of Medicine in Miami, Florida.
I completed my neurology residency training at Memorial and served as chief resident. I remained on the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic and worked with the National Guard to support their community efforts.
The graduate training programs at Memorial have a reputation for producing top-tier physicians, and I embody that reputation in my practice. My expertise in neurology allows me to offer the most up-to-date and cutting-edge treatment options to patients suffering from complex conditions.
With a passion for patient-centered care, I pride myself on maintaining a compassionate bedside manner. I believe my calming presence and ability to actively listen to patients have enabled me to tackle medical mysteries while maintaining the trust and admiration of those in my care. I am also passionate about being a patient advocate, especially for those who need guidance and support navigating complicated diagnoses and therapies.
