About Me
I am a cardiologist at Memorial Cardiac and Vascular Institute. I specialize in treating common and complex heart conditions, including coronary artery disease, hypertension, valvular heart disease, arrhythmias and cardiomyopathies. With advanced training in structural heart imaging, I have a strong interest in valvular heart disease and preventive cardiology.
My passion for cardiology began during my medical school rotations. I was drawn to the field's dynamic nature and constant advancements in technology, treatments and research. Cardiology offers a unique blend of immediate and long-term rewards, allowing me to make a tangible impact on my patients' health and overall quality of life.
Whether through diagnostic procedures or patient education, I strive to empower those in my care. Many heart conditions require ongoing management, and I value the strong, lasting relationships I build with my patients as we navigate their heart health together.
Trust is at the core of patient-centered care. I believe in collaborative decision-making, ensuring open communication and involving my patients — and, when appropriate, their families — in every step of the process. I consider all aspects of a patient’s health, including lifestyle, diet, and mental health, as part of a comprehensive approach to managing and preventing cardiovascular disease.
Beyond patient care, I am dedicated to educating, training and mentoring the next generation of cardiologists, passing on the knowledge and passion that drives me every day.
