About Me
I am a trauma and acute care surgeon at Memorial Healthcare System. I care for patients who come to the emergency department with traumatic injuries and common illnesses and injuries that require surgical treatment.
While growing up, I witnessed many doctors and nurses provide emergency care for my loved ones. This inspired me to pursue a career in medicine so I could exemplify the same service to others. It’s gratifying to provide the necessary medical care while also offering emotional care and support for patients and their families during a difficult time in their lives.
As a surgeon, I objectively assess my patients’ medical conditions when they present to the hospital needing immediate care while remaining compassionate and empathetic to their vulnerable state. Direct communication with patients and families is also a priority. I want everyone to understand what is happening and feel empowered to make the best choices for their care.
Memorial's trauma and surgical teams work cohesively to provide seamless care and the best experience possible.
