About Me
Medical Director, Breast Cancer Research Program
I am a medical oncologist at Memorial Healthcare System with board certifications in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine. I care for patients at Memorial Cancer Institute who are battling various stages of breast cancer.
Oncology is a rapidly changing field, where new developments and treatment options are continually being discovered. I consider it a critical part of my job to stay up to date on the latest findings. I am also actively involved in clinical trials and research at Memorial Cancer Institute, which means our patients have access to new drugs that are not yet offered nationwide. I am proud to be making a difference in the lives of my patients and bringing us all closer to a cure.
Throughout my career at Memorial, I have been able to participate as a principal investigator in many clinical trials that have led to the discovery of new therapies in the battle against breast cancer. Memorial Cancer Institute offers the technical advances necessary to receive the best cancer therapy in South Florida, along with the compassion necessary to care for patients going through the difficult journey of cancer treatment. I feel very fortunate to be a part of this community and this great organization.
While the technical sides of my job are crucial, I never forget that my main purpose is to help my patients during a very difficult time in their life. I want all my patients to feel comfortable communicating with me, to know that I will listen to everything they have to say and that together we will find the right treatment options that will give them the best quality of life.
