About Me
Chief, Adult Endocrinology Program
I am board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and Internal Medicine. As the Chief of General Endocrinology at Memorial Healthcare System, I treat patients with a variety of conditions, including Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal conditions, calcium and metabolic bone disorders, pituitary disorders and endocrine disorders that complicate pregnancy.
I am a caring and hard-working physician, determined to help provide individualized evidence-based care to my patients. It is their motivation and drive that inspires me to do my best. I like spending time with my patients, developing both short- and long-term relationships with them, and helping make a difference in their lives. Being able to use my experience to help my patients meet their health goals is the best aspect of being a doctor.
Creating the General Endocrinology Department at Memorial Healthcare System is the career accomplishment that makes me proudest.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children.
